Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. I am a retired 71 year-old physician who fell from a ladder and fractured six ribs nine days ago. I could barely breath and was in severe pain. It was fortunate that I was transferred to bayfront medical center and Orlando health. The overall quality of care that I received was exemplary. I spent four days in the trauma ICU. Every member of the team, and there were many, was caring and attentive in every way. Luckily, for me, I was assigned a charge nurse on two different days. First it was Felicia, and then Alicia. During my third and fourth days, I was treated by Keeley, whose care went over the top in every way. She encouraged me to get up and walk and understood when I needed things without me having to speak. The trauma team, led by trauma surgeon, Amy Kohler, rounded every morning. It was very clear to me that they had a well-established and very detailed game plan for each type of injury, including rib fractures like mine. Some of the best medicine was the encouragement I got from each of them. It doesn’t happen very often, but I was discharged directly home from the ICU on day five. I am continuing to recover, and feel confident in my path forward. Thank you, Orlando

The nurses, CNA's, managers and assistant manager, and even down to the housekeepers of the 3rd floor 380's rooms are stellar at their craft and are amazingly helpful with caring personalities. Emma, John, McKenna are absolutely fabulous so was Yasmine and so is Annembom and Jennyfer. Also PT staff Rick and Daniel are two of the best around. It was nice having staff greet you as you walk down the halls absolutely nothing neqative to say about the experience here. This woulc be a place I would rest easy knowing was coming if I needed to be in a hospital. Thanks for the brilliant care you all give your patients daily. Only issue we had was quickly handled in a professional manner over Hayward the nursing assistant and his disheartened comments to us.

From my very first consultation through my final post-op visits, my experience with Dr. Naidu and his team was exceptional. I couldn't be happier with my breast reduction results. Dr. Naidu took the time to truly listen to what I wanted, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and set realistic expectations from the beginning. I always felt heard, respected, and confident that he wanted the best possible outcome for me. My results exceeded my expectationsβ€”they look natural, are proportional to my body, and have genuinely improved my quality of life. Regina, PA, was absolutely wonderful throughout my recovery. Anytime I had a post-operative concern or question, she responded quickly with kindness, compassion, and reassurance. Knowing I had someone so knowledgeable and caring available made the recovery process much less stressful. Jasmine, my nurse, was also fantastic. She was warm, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Every member of the team treated me with genuine kindness and respect, and I always felt like I was in skilled, capable hands. Breast reduction is a major decision, and I'm so grateful I chose this practice. Their expertise, excellent

This was my first experience with Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and they did not disappoint. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The Dr assigned to my case was without exception the best hospital Dr I have ever had. He was the only Dr who came in every day, which resulted in a great experience. He took the time to ask questions, really listened, and followed through with the appropriate treatment. A good experience overall!
